Stefan Zins is a survey statistician and has a degree in Economics and a Phd. in Statistics. He is currently working for GESIS in the Department Survey Design and Methodology and is the chair of the sampling panel of the ESS. His research interests include complex samplings design, especially for rotational panels, as well as variance estimation under complex sampling designs and for non-linear statistics. He has taught specialized courses on survey methodology, weighting and data analysis at the University of Trier and the GESIS summer school.
