SERISS is a collaborative project involving a number of cross-European social science data infrastructures.

The main SERISS Consortium comprises the three leading European Research Infrastructures in the social sciences – the

European Social Survey (ESS ERIC), the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE ERIC) and the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA ERIC) – together with three developing research infrastructures – the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP); the European Values Study (EVS) and the WageIndicator Survey.

Throughout the project these infrastructures will work closely together to exploit the synergies between them, share learning and experience and develop economies of scale.

The SERISS Consortium is supported by a Board of Strategic Advice which plays an important role in ensuring that project outputs are relevant to and promoted throughout the wider social science community. The Board is made up of representatives from other major social survey and data infrastructures around the world.
