Brina Malnar is a senior scientist at the University of Ljubljana. She has been with the Public Opinion and Mass Communications Research Centre, which she now heads, since 1990. The center houses the Slovenian Public Opinion survey, the longest-running survey project in Slovenia in the area of social sciences. She has been involved with comparative social surveys since 1991 and with the European Social Survey since 2002, where her area of work is mainly academic community outreach and bibliographic monitoring. Her recent publications focus on health, research ethics, environment and social inequality.
