Michael Bergmann is a senior researcher at the Technical University of Munich (Chair for the Economics of Aging) and the Munich Center for the Economics of Aging (MEA), Germany, where he is the head of the survey methodology department. In 2014, he received his PhD at the University of Mannheim. His main research interests are changing attitudes and behavior in longitudinal studies as well as methodological issues such as sampling issues, interviewer effects, panel attrition, and panel conditioning. From December 2017, he takes over the lead of SERISS WP2.
